Your plant keeps evolving. Does your security technology?

Gate, access control, cameras, segmented networks: everything worked at handover. Since then came new halls, new shifts, new contractors and new habits. Whether the technology still protects the way it was meant to is only shown by someone who actually wants to get in.

That is what we do. We take an attacker’s route from the car park to the control cabinet and find the inconspicuous spots where everyday oversights undo your measures. That puts your security to the test today and leaves you time to fix things.

Planning to invest in security technology? Then the review is your baseline. It shows where your money has the greatest effect and where an organisational change is enough.

Finding high Factory gate
Removed cover of a gate control switch on a factory gate post, contacts exposed

On the gate post, the gate control sits exposed behind a loose cover. A small detail that affects the entire access road.

Finding critical Manufacturing site
Server room door of a manufacturing site, unlocked during working hours

The server room door stood open during working hours. After hours the floor is secured; during the day everything depends on this one door.

Finding high Manufacturing site
Ground-floor window without visible burglary protection

Ground floor, not visible from the street, no burglary protection. After hours this window bypasses the doors and the cameras.

We test the access, production keeps running

We test the physical route to your OT: gates, supplier entrances, control cabinets, maintenance access points and network sockets on the shop floor, plus server rooms, network equipment and backup systems. Running plants stay untouched. Controllers and shop-floor networks are examined passively or during an agreed standstill.

Time windows, limits and the emergency contact are part of the written order. On request we align awareness tests and staff interviews with your works council in advance.

Review of physical access to production, OT and IT

How a review works

Minimal effort for you, clear findings for your security

1

Brief call

30-45 min.

We get to know your site: facilities, processes, what needs protecting. Scope and quote follow from that.

2

Order & rules

in writing

Written order and rules of engagement: limits, time windows, contacts, emergency contact. No signature, no test.

3

On-site test

1 - 3 days

Grounds, building, access, locking systems and shop-floor entrances, without disrupting your production

4

Report

Within 5 days

Executive summary, photos and evidence, prioritized recommendations (quick wins / medium-term / investment)

5

Debrief

30-60 min.

Review the action plan together, set priorities, plan next steps

What we test

Book a call

Grounds & perimeter

Fences, gates, lighting, cameras, motion detectors. We test whether your perimeter actually keeps intruders out and detects attempts to get in.

Access & locking

Badges, locking systems, biometrics, visitor handling. We test whether outsiders stay outside, even when someone holds the door.

Shop floor, OT access & server rooms

Control cabinets, maintenance access, network sockets, server rooms. We test whether access to machines and data is protected the way you expect.

Reception & staff

Visitor traffic, supplier entrances, unknown people on the shop floor. We test whether your team challenges strangers and reports anything unusual.

Thank you!

We'll get back to you shortly.

Request a review

Three scopes, one baseline. Every review covers the same focus areas, the spots most often overlooked in daily operations. What differs between packages is scope and depth. We settle the right scope together in the first call; the quote follows site and scope.

For orientation: which scope fits your site?

Included in every review

  • Access control and locking systems
  • Intrusion alarm and video surveillance
  • Control cabinets and network access
  • Reception, visitors and suppliers
  • Photo-evidenced report with prioritization

Plus whatever else your site brings along: fences and gates, key management, file handling, maintenance access and much more.

We will contact you via your preferred method.

Who tests

We bring 19 years of IT experience from automotive, finance and healthcare, more than four of them as certified penetration testers (OSCP, OSWE, OSEP). From the first call to the debrief you have one contact person.
We know the routes intruders take into buildings because we have learned them: trained by the Covert Access Team and BHE-certified security concept specialists (KRITIS). We test building and IT together and show where a path leads from the grounds into your systems.

A report that holds up as evidence

You receive an independent, photo-backed report of the physical attack paths at your site, prioritized by impact and with concrete recommendations on what to close first. It recommends what helps your site most, regardless of who implements it.

Critical infrastructure and NIS2. NIS2 requires risk management that covers all hazards, including the physical security of your facilities. The report provides the independent test for it: where attackers would get through and which measures close those paths most effectively.

Confidentiality from day one. Every review begins with a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Observations, photos and reports are stored encrypted.

In 30 minutes you will know whether a review makes sense for your site.

We listen to how your business works and what would hurt it most. The call is free and without obligation. Call +49 3683 6539040 or book a slot.
